The most sought-after used cars have gone up in price: How much is your vehicle worth in July?

Used cars showed one of the most notable increases so far this year. According to the monthly indicative price list published by the Chamber of Automotive Commerce (CCA), some of the most sought-after models received price increases of up to 8% compared to June.
Others, however, maintained the same values as in the heavy month, while some Ford models fell by up to 5% .
The important thing to keep in mind is that these are reference values that are not exact and, as is known, are subject to the state of repair and mileage of each unit.
As with brand-new cars, which are experiencing their best half-year in seven years , the aftermarket is also experiencing a boom. Although June results have not yet been released, growth in the first five months was nearly 26% compared to 2024.
As every month, CCA publishes its indicative price list, featuring more than 6,000 models and versions up to 14 years old . These figures are based on transactions carried out and periodic surveys of dealers and agencies during June.
The price comparisons used for this article are based on versions from different years, from 2011 to 2024.
With this in mind, what can be seen is that the Volkswagen Gol , the most sought-after used car in recent years, received increases in the order of 3% compared to June.
The Toyota Yaris increased by 8% compared to June.
In turn, the Volkswagen Amarok - one of the best-selling pickups in both new and used models - increased by 7%, while the Toyota Yaris , the best-selling imported model among new models, registered increases of 8%.
On the other hand, some models maintained their June prices. Examples include the Toyota Hilux , the best-selling pickup truck; the Chevrolet Classic/Corsa , which ranks third on the used market; the Ford Fiesta ; and the Fiat Palio and Cronos , to name a few.
Two Ford models in the top 10 best-sellers, however, saw price cuts . The Ranger model saw a 1% drop, while the Ecosport (Kinetic Design line) saw discounts of up to 5%.
