Prices and equipment of the Onix, Onix Plus, and Tracker: Chevrolet updated its cheapest cars and launched an electric one.

Chevrolet launched the updates to its most affordable models in Argentina. These include the redesigned Onix and Onix Plus , imported from Brazil, and the Tracker SUV, manufactured at the brand's plant in Santa Fe.

In addition, it put the Spark EUV on sale, a vehicle that bears the same name as a car it previously offered here but which in this case is a 100% electric model.

This option becomes the first battery-powered model the brand offers in the country and is available through the tariff benefit proposed by the Government for electrified vehicles starting this year.

In this way, Chevrolet completely renews its most affordable range, with an aesthetic and equipment update for its most popular models, in addition to introducing the first of several electrified models to come.

During the official announcement, the company also announced that it will offer the hybrid version of the Captiva SUV in the country, which will be imported from China and is scheduled to arrive by the end of the year.

The Tracker, manufactured at the Alvear plant near Rosario, has become the company's best-selling model in the local market. It aims to consolidate that position with a cosmetic update.

The range of this Chevrolet offers four versions: LT, LTZ, Premier and RS , each with different style, equipment and finishes.

The most striking feature of the updated model is the front end, which now features a three-tiered light cluster: the topmost for the daytime running lights, the middle for the main headlights, and the bottom for the fog lights. It's a similar style to the one debuted on the Montana pickup truck.

Mechanically, it retains the 1.2-liter turbo engine that delivers 132 hp and 190 Nm of torque . All versions are paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Equipment upgrades vary depending on the trim level. First, it's worth mentioning that the LT option with a manual transmission is no longer available. This option now includes three six airbags, automatic headlights, keyless entry and start, cruise control, an 8" touchscreen, an OnStar assistance system, and native Wi-Fi.

The LTZ version adds blind spot radar, autonomous emergency braking , 17″ alloy wheels, leather-like upholstery, automatic climate control, a digital dashboard, and an 11″ touchscreen multimedia center with a rearview camera.

The RS version, in addition to its sporty aesthetic, adds foglights, a wireless phone charger, and a panoramic sunroof. The top-of-the-line Premier variant adds a parking assist system.

Chevrolet's extensive renovation included the brand's most affordable models in the Argentine market: the Onix hatchback and the Onix Plus sedan.

The update for both models comes with a redesign highlighted by a new grille, headlights and bumper at the front, as well as a modernized interior, with a digital instrument panel and a larger multimedia center .

The range also includes four trim levels (LT, LTZ, Premier, and RS) powered by the 1.0-liter turbocharged direct-injection gasoline engine, which delivers 116 hp and 160 Nm of torque . The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission (LT version) or a 6-speed automatic transmission for the rest of the models.
