Get in, drive it and make sure it's the perfect car for you: dozens of models are available to the public in the Test Drive area.

Choosing a car goes far beyond looking at it in a catalog, seeing it in person, and getting in it while it's stationary. It's not enough to see and touch it; you have to test drive it before buying it. To that end, Automobile Barcelona offers attendees the unique opportunity to drive dozens of units available for customer test drives.
In the Test Drive area, located on Avenida Maria Cristina in the Montjuïc complex, leading manufacturers and exhibitors have set up a series of "boxes" or outdoor tents where they have arranged a wide selection of the models offered at their respective stands for test drives. Accompanied by sales representatives, users can learn about and experience firsthand the specific features of the latest models on the market and the car that best suits their needs and preferences while driving it.

Electric vehicles, which are less familiar to people, attract more requests for tests, as getting used to their reactions and general feel takes a little longer.
Fira BarcelonaIt's an excellent opportunity to experience firsthand the comfort, performance, technologies, and, ultimately, the sensations that the chosen vehicle conveys under real-world driving conditions. Tests are conducted on roads open to traffic.
To access the tests it is advisable to make an appointment with the brands in advance to avoid queues, although it is not essential.Only then, by testing it before buying it, is it possible to know if the car that most caught our eye is just as convincing once we get behind the wheel. Choosing is much easier, and making the right choice is much more likely after ensuring that what we expected is confirmed after driving and testing it. The best decision starts behind the wheel...

Automobile Barcelona has a Test Drive area, where visitors can test drive cars from various brands on the Montjuïc circuit.
Fira BarcelonaThe requirements for test drives are set by each brand, as is the selection of models available to potential customers. However, in most cases, it's sufficient to be of legal age and have a valid driver's license with a minimum of proven experience, as well as, of course, compliance with traffic regulations. After providing personal information, the interested party can schedule a test drive based on the time and vehicle availability, usually accompanied by a representative of the brand.
Tests in the area surrounding the old Montjuïc circuitMost of the tests are carried out during the Show on the old Montjuïc circuit layout, a legendary urban "temple" of speed in the history of Formula 1 and deeply rooted in the motorsport culture of the city of Barcelona. However, there are two alternative routes (A and B, see attached maps) to extend driving time and cover a greater distance if agreed between the brand and the interested party.

Depending on the interest shown, the availability of units and specialized personnel, longer tests can sometimes be arranged with the brand, covering some non-urban sections.
Fira BarcelonaThe first covers a distance of 6.4 kilometers and takes about 20 minutes to complete, while the second covers 4.3 kilometers and takes about 17 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. One of these routes, Route B, will be used primarily on Sunday the 11th due to traffic disruptions resulting from the Barça-Madrid football match, which will take place at the Olympic Stadium, just 500 meters from the fairgrounds.
In the lower part of Avenida Maria Cristina, opposite Pavilion 1, are Honda, MG, and Alpine. Opposite them, in front of Pavilion 8, are Hyundai, KGM, Ford, and BYD. Further on, above Plaza de l'Univers, are Seat and Cupra, the DR Group brands, and Omoda/Jaecco. Opposite the Congress Center are Nissan, Ebro, and Tesla. Finally, on Avenida Rius i Taulet, are Suzuki and Lynk & Co.
