Adria's Overland camper will take you to the end of the world: based on a Mercedes-Benz, it has all-wheel drive and premium finishes.

The conventional campervan trend has fallen short for the most adventurous, who aren't content with a surfing getaway: they want to go to the end of the world. This is when the Overland phenomenon takes center stage, positioning itself as one of the most attractive and aspirational models in recent years, while manufacturers are making room for it in their ranges. The latest to incorporate its offering? The Slovenian firm with the Adria Supertwin 4x4.
Like its direct rivals, this large-volume camper is based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with AWD all-wheel drive, a combination that offers robustness, off-road capabilities, a luxurious interior, and the German brand's technological guarantee. Its purpose is clear: to allow travelers to go further, even off-road, without sacrificing comfort.
As is typical of Adria, the exterior design of the Supertwin 4x4 makes its ambitions clear with body colors such as Tenorite Grey Metallic or Black Obsidian Metallic. Far from the boring white of "normal" motorhomes, this motorhome demonstrates its power to access demanding routes and offer premium protection in extreme climates.

Inside, the interior feels like a loft on wheels, and the Adria formula fits perfectly with the Sprinter's foundation. We find an open-plan living area with a panoramic window and interconnected areas. The skylight not only adds a sense of quality but also provides direct access to light and, therefore, a feeling of comfort and habitability.
The table, which has a distinctive removable cup holder, divides the kitchen area with a countertop on the left, two stovetops (induction is available), and a sink, along with the typical cabinets and drawers for storing everything you need. The refrigerator has an 84-liter capacity as standard, but you can purchase a 138-liter one. The bathroom features the Slovenian firm's swivel design, which hides the shower behind the wall, and uses the Thetford waterless toilet system (optional).

The comfort and usability of this model are more than proven, both by the experience of Adria and Mercedes-Benz. The 4000D diesel heater maintains dual-zone climate control and allows the water tanks to be heated. These tanks, by the way, have a capacity of 100 liters for fresh water and 70 liters for gray water. They're not the largest on the market, but more than enough to provide independence for days.
Before discussing the available configurations, let's highlight how we would get to our final destination: thanks to the 190-hp 2.0-liter diesel engine from Mercedes-Benz. It's paired with a 9G-Tronic automatic transmission and its famous 50/50 all-wheel drive, which guarantees off-road capabilities on all types of surfaces: dirt, snow, mud, and wet asphalt. That is, provided the tires are suitable, like the Grabber ones fitted on the 17-inch aluminum wheels.

The Sprinter's driver assistance systems, such as Active Brake Assist, rearview camera, 360-degree Parking Package, and touchscreen multimedia controls, also provide confidence even on challenging routes. This includes an audio system with an amplifier, four speakers, woofers, and DSP technology with direct connection to the Sprinter's MBUX.
This adventure level is available in two versions. The 600 variant, measuring 593 cm, is the most compact and agile. Above this is the 700, which is longer (6.96 m) and offers more interior space.
Both models can be optionally equipped with a Pop-Top roof, which adds an additional 125 x 200 cm double bed. The classic layouts have the transverse bed version in the 600, with two folding sections and extensions to reach 140/125 x 196 cm and the electric folding option in the 700 (175/120 x 200 cm), both with high-quality mattresses that ensure a perfect rest after the adrenaline of the trip.

With this launch, Adria maintains its strong position in the sector, demonstrating its potential with an Adria Supertwin 4x4 that is positioned as one of the most exclusive and complete campers in its segment. The firm has not yet confirmed the official price for Spain, but it is expected to exceed €100,000, similar to its direct rivals such as the Hymer Grand Canyon S 4x4 or the La Strada Regent 4x4.
