Vinales' shoulder is damaged after a crash: no fractures, but he'll miss the Sprint. His GP is doubtful.

After making it through Q1 at the Sachsenring , Maverick Vinales crashed in the early minutes of Q2. After the highside, he got up and went first to the paddock medical center in Germany and then to the hospital. The Spanish rider suffered a dislocated left shoulder, which was promptly treated. At the hospital, he underwent a CT scan that ruled out any fractures. A decision will be made tomorrow morning on whether he will participate in the race.
