The Abarth that we don't see in Italy is even more equipped

Abarth is carving out an increasingly important space for itself on the South American market and, in particular, in Brazil, thanks to a range rich in options and still tied to internal combustion engines. A new model has arrived to enrich the offer of the Scorpion brand. This is the updated version of the Abarth Pulse , a model derived from the Fiat Pulse , the compact SUV that the Turin brand makes exclusively for the South American market. Abarth has updated its version of the Pulse, presenting the Model Year 2026 which introduces several new features and enriches the range, with a more complete equipment.

Lots of new features for the SUV

Abarth Pulse has been in production since 2022. With the restyling and the debut of the 2026 Model Year, however, the SUV is renewed and becomes much more interesting. The brand has intervened on the project by introducing new aesthetic solutions with 18-inch alloy wheels and a technological equipment that becomes much richer, going to satisfy the needs of customers. The price list is also renewed with regards to accessories and optional extras : Abarth, in fact, wanted to increase the customization options of its sports SUV to offer customers the possibility of ordering a model increasingly in line with their preferences, both in terms of aesthetics and in terms of functionality. Abarth has confirmed that the new version of Pulse will be available on the Brazilian market with prices starting from 157,990 Real which, at the current exchange rate, corresponds to approximately 24,500 euros .

Continuously evolving, the model now comes with new equipment to continue accelerating with the best we have to offer in a sports SUV .”

Sportsmanship and tradition

In Europe, Abarth has chosen the path of electrification, with models like the 600e with many difficulties and a possible U-turn in the near future. In South America and, in particular, in Brazil, however, the situation is very different. A model like the Abarth Pulse manages to best embody the essence of the brand , maximizing its sporty character despite the lines of the body (a traditional compact SUV of segment B) not being particularly suited to high-performance driving.

The heart of the project is the T270 turbo engine that can guarantee a maximum power of 185 HP and a torque of 270 Nm . The performance is that of a small sports car: the maximum speed is 210 km/h while the 0-100 km/h sprint is completed in 7.6 seconds. These are not exaggerated numbers but, especially considering the characteristics of the model, the sporty soul of Abarth manages to shine through, also thanks to specific technical solutions.

The version designed by the Scorpion of Pulse, in fact, can count on technical customizations related to the brakes, suspensions and various other elements of the technical compartment with the aim of maximizing sportiness during use. It should be noted that it is possible to choose between three driving modes : Sport, focused on sportiness and comfort, Manual, which offers versatility and personality, and Poison, designed to maximize fun.
