Rom-e, the fifth edition kicks off from October 10th to 12th

There are less than three months to go until the fifth edition of the event dedicated to sustainability and the future of the energy transition, held for five years in the center of the Eternal City. This year, from October 10th to 12th, Rome will once again focus on the environment and eco-sustainability. Rom-E will transform the capital , with its beauty and history, into the ideal stage to explore and share a greener and more sustainable future. Last year's event attracted over 300,000 visitors and hosted over 150 test drives in central Rome, where numerous exhibiting companies brought the festival to life with content, products, initiatives, music, and games. Rom-E aims to be an event for everyone, including the youngest, because it is to them that we must leave the planet, and it is from an early age that we learn to have a green and sustainable vision of the world. As usual, Rom-E will be held over three days, with Friday, October 10th, dedicated to conferences, which this year will be held at the Casina Valadier, within the Villa Borghese park. The exhibitions, open to the public, will be held from Saturday, October 11th to Sunday, October 12th, and will be held in various locations.
At Villa Borghese and Piazza Mignanelli , the famous mirrored house-shaped structures will host companies that want to share their content with visitors about their commitment to greater sustainability. Piazza Bucarest will also host the starting point for test drives of green vehicles. Rom-E will also have installations in other areas of the capital, as its aim is always to bring together companies and individuals on the topic of sustainability, and to do so in a simple and direct way. This year's conference on Friday, October 10th, at the new location of Casina Valadier , will unfold throughout the day, addressing various topics with the aim of expanding the concept of sustainability and having company leaders, industry experts, and institutions discuss how the word sustainability becomes a reality in different contexts. Therefore, we cannot discuss sustainability without touching on the topic of energy, especially during this time and with the challenges we have faced in recent years, but also with the openness to energy sources like nuclear, which seemed banned in our country. Therefore, with the participation of politicians, technicians from the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security, experts, and company managers, we will analyze the energy sources we will need to develop to safeguard not only the economy but also our beautiful country. A special focus will be on the mobility transition, with an analysis and the presence of experts and professionals on what is happening in the increasingly troubled automotive market.
This year, Rom-E is expanding the conference and exhibition themes to include the world of food. Cuisine, always central to a people's culture and identity, has adapted to modern times, embracing trends in communication languages. In the digital age, the influence of media has become increasingly significant, with television cooking shows and the active presence of bloggers and creators shaping consumers' relationships with food. This combination of entertainment and information has opened up new perspectives on the experience of purchasing, enjoying, and preparing what we cook.
The Rom-E conference will address sustainability in the food sector, including production, large-scale distribution, and even food waste. "The numbers speak for themselves: every year, more and more customers choose to join Rom-E, and revenue continues to grow, a tangible sign of the trust the initiative generates. This result recognizes the quality of the project and the commitment to promoting and enhancing it, which we, as Sport Network— Italy's leading green concessionaire and official advisor for the event —carry out," said Ferruccio Belloni, Commercial Director of Sport Network. The website www.rom-e.it has also been revamped, featuring updated graphics and a new section dedicated to sustainability: a true hub of news and insights, constantly updated, to showcase the commitment and initiatives on the topic. The Rom-E conference will be broadcast live on the revamped website www.rom-e.it . The live broadcast will also be available on the websites of Corriere dello Sport-Stadio, Tuttosport, and Auto.it.
