Norris outwits Piastri for pole at Spa. Leclerc is there, Hamilton's nightmare.

SPA-FRANCORSCHAMPS (Belgium) - Lando Norris takes pole position for the Belgian Grand Prix, beating teammate Oscar Piastri with an excellent Charles Leclerc third, a nightmare for Lewis Hamilton yet again. Qualifying got off to a dramatic start in Q1, as Kimi Antonelli (18th) and Lewis Hamilton, like in sprint qualifying, failed to make it to Q2. The Briton had set the seventh fastest time, but it was cancelled due to track limits at Raidillon, leaving the Briton 16th. The other top drivers entered Q3, where Norris quickly moved ahead of Piastri with a time of 1:40.562 , 5 tenths ahead of Verstappen in third place with Leclerc fourth. A final attempt saw Leclerc outmaneuver Verstappen (guilty of a bad mistake at the start of the lap) while Norris narrowly avoided pole position from Piastri by 0.85 seconds.
