Ford: the electric range at the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series 2025

During the last weekend of June, Polignano a Mare, in the province of Bari, hosted the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series for the twelfth time . A challenge that saw the best athletes in the world specialized in acrobatic dives, challenge each other from platforms almost 30 meters high. A very short crazy flight in which it is easy to touch the water at over 85 km/h. A show that attracted more than 35 thousand spectators, packed between the picturesque terraces of Polignano, but also on the historic bridge and the beach of Lama Monachile.

But it was also an opportunity to get a first-hand look at the entire recent electrified range by Ford. Among the models on display and which attracted the most curious glances from the public was the new Ford Explorer . An SUV with a compact but at the same time spacious design. 447 cm long and with a generous wheelbase of 276 cm. Available with three battery variants ( 52, 77 and up to 79 kWh ) and capable of reaching 340 hp in the all-wheel drive variant. The range exceeds 600 km, with extremely rapid charging times, also thanks to the internal charger capable of managing up to 135 kW . A solution that allows the battery to be fully recharged in about half an hour.

Ford's electric range also includes the compact Puma and the Capri. A variety of offerings capable of intercepting different segments of the public, keeping the promise of always pushing beyond one's limits, a bit like divers do. The Apulian event has consolidated precisely this parallelism. Between extreme sports and technological innovation: both united by the search for constant improvement. And with attention already turned to the next appointment of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series, on 5 and 6 September in Mostar, Bosnia.
