Butti, AI and innovation will save the automotive sector

"Innovation is not just Artificial intelligence but also sensors and quantum computing. The combined effect of these elements will allow to the automotive industry to keep up with the times and to overcome the crisis". This was stated by the Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council with responsibility for technological innovation and digital transition, Alessio Butti, speaking at the conference "Artificial Intelligence and Mobility," held in Orzinuovi (Brescia). The sector, Butti recalled, "is experiencing the crisis perhaps more serious since the birth of the automobile", but innovation remains the key to turning point, especially in territories "such as the province of Brescia, always attentive to development and changes economic, social and cultural". According to the Undersecretary, in addition to investments technological training will be a decisive theme: "Together we must train employers' associations differently manpower. If there is a technological evolution underway, the training of employees and managers must be adequate. And it is perhaps the most complex path because it will have to involve schools and universities".
