MISANO ADRIATICO (Rimini) – It was a remarkable Saturday for Marco Bezzecchi , who, after securing pole position, also won the Sprint Race of the San Marino and Rimini Riviera Grand Prix. The rider from Romagna crossed the finish line ahead of Alex Marquez and Fabio Di Giannantonio . During the race, Bezzecchi engaged in a spectacular battle with Marc Marquez, but the Spaniard crashed —while leading—on lap six: his first zero after eight consecutive sprint race wins this season. Fabio Morbidelli finished fourth, followed by Pedro Acosta, Fermin Aldeguer, Luca Marini, Jorge Martin, Raul Fernandez, and Enea Bastianini rounding out the top 10.
Marco Bezzecchi celebrated his victory in the San Marino GP sprint race. After crossing the finish line, the Aprilia rider held up a wooden leg similar to the famous "Garpez" from the film "Three Men and a Leg ." Bezzecchi also celebrated the film with a helmet bearing the words "GarBez" and the partial quote, "My team does it better with 30,000 lire."
