Car drivers swear by £10 gadget that 'stops window condensation' in cold weather

As the weather gets colder, many drivers face the issue of condensation on the insides of windows and a damp-feeling vehicle. Fortunately, Amazon shoppers have found a cheap solution.
These hanging dehumidifier pouches cost just under £10 for a pack of six and are specifically engineered to soak up moisture in damp environments including bathrooms, cars, wardrobes and beyond, reports the Liverpool Echo.
They promise to start working within days, and last up to 60 days. As they are lightly scented, they also claim to help get rid of musty, mildewy smells caused by damp.
The pouches have a blue plastic hook and are filled with calcium chloride granules, which soak up airborne moisture. They transform into water, which drips into a leak-proof pouch. Once the granules vanish and it's full with water, users can swap the pouches for fresh ones.
Thousands of Amazon shoppers have given these dehumidifier pouches positive reviews.
One shopper wrote: "I purchased these to hang in the car and stop condensation on the windows in the morning. Once you hang the bag it can take a couple of nights to start collecting water, but once it does........ No more condensation
Another happy customer said these "absorb the damp well" and said that after putting one in the car, "it's not so cold and damp in there on winter mornings".
A third review read: "Excellent in winter for my vehicle especially when dogs are wet after walks. Also used them in the bathroom in the winter and really helped."
One drawback of these pouches is that they are single-use, meaning they just need to be thrown away after they have filled up. This might be an issue for more environmentally conscious shoppers who want to eliminate waste.
