"I had a problem at the start, I had some wheelspin. My plan was to start in front and get away, and in the first three laps I had to push to get back, and then when I was in front I managed my rear tire. Everything went perfectly today," said Marc Marquez.

The Catalan, who has dominated since the start of the weekend, recorded his seventh victory in eight sprints this season and will aim for a double on Sunday at the Aragonese circuit. With this latest victory, he increased his lead over his brother in the championship by three points, bringing it to 27.
