These are the traffic fines that the DGT gives to drivers in Ceuta the most

Road traffic offences continue to be a problem throughout Spain. As revealed by the driver protection organisation Automovilistas Europeos Asociados (AEA) in a recent report, the money collected from traffic offences has already exceeded record figures for the second consecutive year: 500 million euros.
This report analyses the evolution of infractions committed on the roads of our country during the period 2022-2023. Although the analysis ensures that speeding continues to lead the ranking of sanctions imposed by the DGT in 2023, the truth is that the most popular infraction depends on the autonomous community. Below, we reveal the traffic violation that receives the most fines in Ceuta.
ITV The ITV, the vehicle that accumulates the most complaints in CeutaAccording to the AEA report, the highest number of traffic violation complaints in Ceuta is due to failure to pass the MOT, with 1,960 complaints in 2023, some 59 more complaints than the previous year.
Driving in Spain without a valid MOT can have serious consequences. If the MOT is unfavourable, you have 2 months to repair the defects and pass it again, being able to use the vehicle only to go to the garage and the MOT, with a fine of €200 if you drive outside these circumstances.
If the ITV is negative, the vehicle is immobilized and must be towed away, with a fine of €500. Driving with an expired ITV is also punishable by a fine of €200, and can reach €500 if the vehicle is not presented for inspection within the stipulated period, and the agents can withdraw your driving permit.
