The vast car collection that Mohammed VI of Morocco needs 12 palaces to store.

It's common for monarchies around the world to have impressive automotive gems in their palace garages. King Felipe VI of Spain himself has a remarkable car collection in the Zarzuela Palace, but it pales in comparison to the immense number of automobiles owned by another sovereign, and you don't have to go far to find it either... you just have to cross the Strait of Gibraltar.

King Mohammed VI of Morocco may very well be the monarch with the most cars on the planet, as the Moroccan sovereign possesses a colossal automobile collection. In fact, his number of vehicles is so large that they don't fit in Dar al-Majzen, the royal residence in Rabat, and he therefore has to use a total of a dozen palaces to store them. And some of these treasures are impressive.

The Moroccan monarch's passion for motoring runs in his family. Both his grandfather, Mohammed V, and his father, Hassan II, were car enthusiasts. Between those purchased by their predecessors on the Moroccan throne and those acquired by Mohammed VI himself, the royal family now owns more than 600 cars . These cars aren't affordable for just any commoner; they're marvels that only the wealthiest can afford.

From vehicles from such renowned brands as Ferrari, Aston Martin, and Porsche to true four-wheeled beasts from historic manufacturers like Bentley and even Rolls-Royce, Mohamed VI's garages are spectacular. The monarch also owns several Mercedes and Jaguar models, although the king's latest acquisition is undoubtedly one of the most special: the Laraki Sahara, a hypercar manufactured in Morocco with approximately 1,550 hp.

Of course, not all Moroccan royal palace garages house only supercars with outstanding performance; there's also room for other types of vehicles in their mansions. King Mohammed VI owns several SUVs, creating a four-wheeled collection that is the envy of the world and consists of hundreds of cars.

Whether it's an Aston Martin DB7, a Range Rover, or a Mercedes Pullman 500 limousine, the ruler of Morocco can boast having the most impressive and exclusive vehicles on the planet. Throughout his 25 years of reigning over the North African country, the monarch has been seen behind the wheel (and as a passenger) of many of these dream cars , which only someone of his fortune could afford.
