The Macbor Montana XR1 Evo is rearmed with more power and equipment.

Macbor renews its Montana XR1, a 125cc Trail bike that, since its launch in 2017, has become a benchmark in the segment, a motorcycle aimed at young riders with an A1 license, car drivers with a B license, or experienced bikers looking for a lightweight, accessible, and versatile Adventure bike. In 2023, it was completely revamped thanks to the Barcelona-based brand's in-house development and fully updated equipment.

Now, in 2025, it has been renewed again with important advances that place it at the top of its class : more power, ABS, TCS, 5" TFT with mirroring, 18" front wheel, and an updated design.

It is equipped with a new 15 HP single-cylinder engine (3 HP more than its predecessor), 4-stroke, 4-valve, water-cooled engine that delivers a torque of 11 Nm at 7,500 rpm, making it the most powerful Trail in its category.

It has a dual-channel ABS braking system with three modes: ABS ON, ABS OFF, and rear wheel OFF, and disconnectable traction control (TCS).

It also features a new 18" front wheel with spoked rims and mixed tubeless tires, ideal for trail riding.

The design has been updated with elements such as its new front trim and grips engraved with the brand name, and the 5" TFT color dashboard with mirroring connectivity.

In terms of suspension , the bike is equipped with a hydraulic inverted fork with 120 mm of travel and a hydraulic monoshock with adjustable preload. The braking system has been optimized: the front brake is a 265 mm disc with a dual-piston floating caliper and ABS, while the rear brake is also a 240 mm disc with a single-piston floating caliper and ABS. As for the rims and tires, the Montana XR1 125 EVO is fitted with tubeless wheels, with a 100/90-18 front tire and a 130/80-17 rear tire, measuring 18" and 17" respectively. These rims are spoked with aluminum.

It now also offers complete Adventure equipment as standard : a 3-panel kit (35L top case, 15L right case and 20L left case), side guards, a skid plate and a centre stand.

The Montana XR1 125 EVO arrives at Official Macbor Dealers available in four colors (White, Red, Blue and Black), at a price of €3,499 .
