The Land Rover Discovery Sport gets a refresh with the Metropolitan and Landmark editions

JLR's compact family SUV, the Discovery Sport, is boosting its appeal with a more dynamic look and improved specifications, plus the introduction of two new, exclusive editions: Metropolitan and Landmark.
This update, starting with the attractive Dynamic S, aims to offer families a more luxurious and personalized driving experience than ever before, adapting to any type of adventure throughout the year.
The latest Discovery Sport range not only features a refreshed visual design, but also incorporates innovative alloy wheels and new optional packages designed to allow customers to easily customize the vehicle to suit their family needs.
According to Joelle Taylor, Head of Discovery Strategy, Product and Services, "Discovery Sport's compact dimensions camouflage its extraordinary interior space and exceptional seven-seat versatility, making it the perfect companion for your family adventures."
The Discovery Sport's interior, available with up to seven seats, has been designed to maximize space and comfort for all occupants. It offers up to 24 seating configurations, with a sliding and reclining second row, and a generous flexible cargo area of up to 1,794 liters. The luxurious quality is evident in the use of exquisitely crafted and tactile materials, creating a bright and airy cabin with stadium seating for optimal visibility in all three rows.

The new Discovery Sport Metropolitan Edition is positioned as the flagship model, emulating the sophistication of its larger sibling, the Discovery Metropolitan. On the outside, it features Atlas Silver Discovery badging, Indus Silver skid plates, a unique grille with silver insert, and 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels. The interior features Windsor leather, 14-way heated front seats, a MeridianTM surround-sound system, and the ingenious Clearsight Rear View Mirror, which improves rear visibility even when the vehicle is fully loaded.
The Discovery Sport Landmark Edition, meanwhile, pays tribute to Discovery's more than 35-year history of adventure. It is identified by the iconic mountain range logo, which first appeared on the original 1989 Discovery, now featured on the aluminum running boards and projected onto the floor when the vehicle is unlocked. This version highlights the model's versatility with its panoramic roof, Click & Go media holders in the second row, surround view camera, and roof rails to maximize functionality.
Finally, customization is taken to the next level with an expansion of optional accessory packages. In addition to the Biking Adventures and For Dogs options, the new Beach Days packages are now available, with a cooler in the center armrest and sunshades; the Road Trip package, with multimedia supports and a roof rack; and the Snow Days package, ideal for transporting skis and featuring rubber floor mats.
The Discovery Sport also maintains its range of efficient plug-in hybrid and mild-hybrid electric powertrains, with a WLTP range of up to 61 km in electric mode and rapid charging capability. The Discovery Sport is now on sale through JLR dealerships, starting at €58,900.
