The name Porsche Macan began circulating in the automotive industry in 2014, becoming the second SUV in the history of the German firm.
Furthermore, the Macan was the first all-electric SUV from the brand founded by the legendary Ferdinand Porsche. Therefore, the Stuttgart-based company is taking its electric philosophy to the next level with the new GTS variant; an agile, dynamic vehicle with an efficient powertrain.
The Macan GTS features a 100 kWh battery that powers the electric motor located at the rear of the vehicle. This power unit delivers up to 571 horsepower and 704 lb-ft of torque.
Furthermore, it can go from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.8 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 250 km/h.
To enhance the track experience, it incorporates Track driving mode, which improves vehicle performance by increasing battery cooling and minimizing power loss due to heat buildup.
It also features two artificial sport sounds that are activated by the Sport and Sport Plus driving modes.
On the outside, highlights include LED lighting and 21-inch anthracite gray wheels. It also features 400mm front brake discs with 6-piston fixed calipers, and 350mm rear discs with floating calipers.
Inside, the sporty atmosphere continues with carbon fiber details and the option of three screens divided between the instrument cluster, the infotainment system, and a passenger display.
The efficient and innovative electric Porsche Macan GT is sold in the Mexican market for 2 million 198 thousand pesos.
