Honda GB350S 'The Rocket Lion', winner of the Honda Garage Dreams Contest

Honda launched its Garage Dreams Contest five years ago, a customization competition open to official Honda dealers in Spain and Portugal. The competition offers limited budgets for parts and paint, and each year focuses on a different model from the Japanese brand's catalog. This year, the new GB350S takes center stage.
Following voting by the 25 official Honda dealerships participating in the competition, Moto Center León has been declared the winner of the 5th Garage Dreams Contest from among the five finalists (three of them chosen by the online public and two by an expert jury).
The winning customization was 'The Rocket Lion' , a name that pays homage to the city of León, where the dealership is located. "We wanted to convey a message of love and respect for the brand; every detail has been carefully considered to ensure that the model blends the brand's past and present, as we believe is the objective of the GB350S; a Neo Retro model into which Honda has invested a great deal of care. We were inspired by the RC181 ridden by the legendary Mike Hailwood," comment those responsible for Moto Center León.
Second place went to the Clubman TT from Mallorca Motos . "Our project is named Clubman TT, in honor of the entire road racing movement of the 1970s, and of course, the most spectacular race in the world, the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy. We'd like to convey that all motorcycles have a sporty side. In our project, we wanted to turn the GB 350 concept on its head, turning a touring bike into a true track devourer," explains the Mallorcan company.

The Motorsport Madrid customizations, 'Miranda', and Servihonda Málaga, 'MBX 350', tied for third place .
"We wanted to create a project focused on the largely forgotten audience: women, since our dealership is the only one in Spain run by women. The name was inspired by little Miranda, 7 years old, the daughter of one of the dealership's managers," they commented at Motorsport.
For its part, Servihonda explains about its 'MBX 350' : "Our inspiration was an iconic model from the 1980s that defined the youth of many motorcyclists. We want everyone who lived through that era to reminisce about their youth, and young people to be able to enjoy an updated iconic model."
As for the Stilmoto Impala 350 from San Sebastián , it finished in fourth place. "It's a legendary Spanish motorcycle. We've prioritized reviving a historic model. We would like anyone who sees our bike to think that, based on its finish, it's a bike that came from the factory like this, to appreciate all the work that goes into it, as well as each and every one of its details," explains Stilmoto.
