Honda CB350 H'Ness: What will the modern classic-style motorcycle arriving next month cost?

Honda CB350 H'Ness: What will the modern classic-style motorcycle arriving next month cost?

Honda Argentina 's string of model launches continues unabated. Now, the CB350 H'Ness has joined the ranks, a highly anticipated model in the mid-displacement modern classic segment, where the brand has been absent for a long time.

The CB350 H'Ness was unveiled Friday during a press conference at the Honda Motoshow dealership in Martínez, and was seen on the road for the first time on Sunday during the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride (DGR) Buenos Aires caravan.

"It's gaining a presence in a segment that has been growing tremendously. We haven't had a presence for several years now, and now with this opportunity, with this beautiful model and so many features, I think it will captivate the public," Alejandro Módica, commercial manager of Honda Argentina, told Clarín . The model also inaugurates a new model of customer service experience . "It's a wonderful combination to begin this new stage," he asserted.

The motorcycle's design is classic, robust, and minimalist, yet incorporates the latest in safety and technology.

"It's made for those looking for a motorcycle with a classic style and personality , but also for technology. It has a very important engine characteristic: high torque and low revs. It's for those looking for a more relaxed riding style," said Módica.

What is the new Honda CB350 H'Ness like?

The engine is a 349cc single-cylinder engine characterized by delivering full torque from low revs, allowing for smooth, agile, and responsive driving, both in the city and on the highway. It develops 21 hp at 5,500 rpm and 30 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm.

Chrome and retro styling are among the design details. Chrome and retro styling are among the design details.

"Although it's not for high speeds, it's very easy to maintain the speed limit. In other cases, when we're going 110 or 120 km/h (62 or 64 mph) with a headwind or a slight incline, an engine that doesn't have this kind of performance will drop the speed. In the case of the CB350, it's easier to maintain it," Módica explained.

The package is complemented by electronic injection, air cooling, and a 5-speed transmission with assisted clutch and anti-bounce, which improves control and comfort when changing gears.

In terms of safety, it features disc brakes and ABS on both wheels . It also includes Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), which automatically activates the hazard lights during sudden braking, and traction control .

In terms of equipment, the front brake uses a 310mm disc with Nissin dual-piston calipers, while the front suspension is handled by a Showa telescopic fork, with 106mm of travel.

As for the dashboard, the speedometer is a needle, but the rest of the information is provided in digital format.

The bike also features full LED lighting, including fixed turn signals as forward position lights, reinforcing its modern style without losing its retro spirit.

The 15-liter fuel tank features a teardrop design and detailed finishes, offering excellent capacity, ideal for long trips.

The CB350 H'ness is manufactured in India and is offered in three colors: Matte Marshal Green Metallic, Pearl Nightstar Black, and Precious Red Metallic. It will be available through Honda dealerships starting in June, backed by a three-year warranty, just like the rest of the Honda product line.

According to Honda, the price will be 10% more than the CB300F Twister , which currently has a suggested retail price of $8,679,800 on the brand's official website.

New exclusive Honda service model

With the launch of the CB350 H'Ness, Honda will also debut a more exclusive customer service model, in line with the type of rider this bike is intended for. Along these lines, the new bike will be offered only at the brand's most exclusive dealerships.

"It's a service model that takes care of every detail of how we interact with our customers from the moment of sale, until that customer needs a service, needs an accessory, clothing, advice, or driving tips. Or they want to join a group to go riding and maybe they don't have it set up. We're going to facilitate and invite them to participate in rides and driving clinics," Módica explained.

There will also be new products to equip and customize motorcycles, as well as clothing for motorcyclists.

"Basically, we want to be close to our customers, supporting them throughout their motorcycle use, not just during sales or service, but throughout their use," he explained.
