A driver dies after suffering from driving disorder in Vimianzo.

A person died this Thursday after suffering an illness while driving in the Coruña municipality of Vimianzo . The 112 emergency service received the call around 5:30 p.m. The driver left the road and crashed into a fountain on Rúa da Torre .

The people who notified the emergency services and witnessed the incident agreed that the driver could have been suffering from an illness, similar to a heart attack , which had caused him to lose control of the car.

The Galician Emergency Medical Service (061) was immediately dispatched, requesting the dispatch of a medical helicopter based in Santiago, along with Cee Firefighters and local police officers. Ultimately, the patient was unable to overcome the crisis, and after unsuccessful resuscitation attempts, he died.
