MotoGP Concessions: This division continues from Spielberg

MotoGP entered its summer break last Sunday with the Czech Grand Prix . At the same time, the premier class also reached the next checkpoint for the re-evaluation of the concession rankings in Brno. Motorsport-Magazin.com reveals the classification that will continue at the Red Bull Ring in mid-August.
But first: What period was actually being assessed? Quite simply: The reassessment during this summer break included all the performances of the five MotoGP manufacturers since last year's summer break. Therefore, all points scored in the Constructors' Championship between the 2024 British GP in Silverstone and the 2025 Czech GP in Brno last weekend were taken into account.
A total of 23 Grand Prix events took place during the measurement period, resulting in a maximum of 851 points. Ducati has accumulated 837 points since Silverstone 2024, meaning the Borgo Panigale-based manufacturer has easily earned the necessary number of points to remain in Concession rank A (85 percent, 724 points). Only at Le Mans and Silverstone did the Italians fail to secure the maximum 37 points this season; otherwise, Ducati riders have consistently secured first place in both Sprint and Grand Prix races.
It also became clear relatively quickly which positions KTM , Honda, and Yamaha would occupy after the 2025 summer break. The three constructors consistently performed at a similar level during the measurement period as in the previous one, and several weeks ago they had already confirmed their continued presence in C (KTM) or D (Honda, Yamaha). Since Silverstone 2024, KTM has collected a total of 337 points, Yamaha 209 points, and Honda 198 points. To move up to the next rank, they would have needed 511 and 298 points, respectively.
Only Aprilia kept it exciting right up until the end. Around four weeks ago, we at Motorsport-Magazin.com reported that the Italians could be facing relegation to D place . A strong final spurt with 27 points in Assen, 16 points at the Sachsenring and 26 points in Brno gave Aprilia enough points in the final meters to remain in C place. Ultimately, Noale managed 314 points, whereas 298 were needed. If Aprilia had not scored any points on Sunday in Brno, they would have been relegated to D place. Marco Bezzecchi's second place in the Czech GP has now ensured that MotoGP will continue after the 2025 summer break with the same concession classification as since the introduction of the new regulations at the start of the 2024 season.
MotoGP 2026: Will Honda make it to Concession Rank C?The next re-evaluation will take place at the end of the 2025 season. All results from the current season will be taken into account. Ducati currently has 430 points, Aprilia 187 points, KTM 175 points, Honda 147 points, and Yamaha 133 points, with a total of 370 points still up for grabs from the last ten Grands Prix. Based on the current points average, the same concession classification should continue at the start of the 2026 season. Ducati is still clearly on course for A, Aprilia and KTM on course for C, and Yamaha on course for D. Only Honda, with its current average, would be within reach of a move to C; the Japanese would only need to gain an additional 15 points. However, given the trend of the last few weeks, this is no longer particularly realistic.
Rather, the mood in the HRC camp seems to be shifting somewhat again. You can find out what's going wrong in this article:
