BMW XM Label (2026): Exclusivity instead of basic

BMW sold only 286 XMs in Germany from January to May 2025. Therefore, action is needed to boost sales. The model range of the M GmbH SUV is now being streamlined.
Three become two: Only the top-of-the-line BMW XM Label model features the electrified V8 combustion engine. The XM 50e model, equipped with an electrified six-cylinder engine, remains unchanged in the range.
In the BMW XM Label, the plug-in hybrid system consists of a V8 combustion engine with up to 430 kW/585 hp and an electric motor with up to 145 kW/197 hp integrated into the 8-speed M Steptronic transmission. With a system output of 550 kW/748 hp and a system torque of 1,000 Nm, the BMW XM Label is the most powerful series-produced BMW M automobile ever.
It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, and its top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h. In conjunction with the optional M Driver's Package, the limit is raised to 290 km/h.
The XM label now offers additional options for customizing the exterior and interior. The optional BMW Individual Frozen Tanzanite Blue metallic exterior paint finish is now available, emphasizing the model's distinctive character. The BMW M kidney grille, including the accent strip, is available in high-gloss Black.

A new welcome light highlight underscores the BMW XM Label's appearance at night. In Europe, the BMW XM Label now comes standard with 22-inch M Double-spoke style 922 Bicolor light-alloy wheels with mixed-size tires. They replace the previous 21-inch wheels. The 23-inch M Styling 1096 M light-alloy wheels in black are now available as an option.
The optional BMW Individual 'Merino' leather trim with exclusive Midnight Blue features lends the interior a particularly extravagant feel. Other new color combinations for the interior of the BMW XM Label include BMW Individual 'Merino' leather trim with exclusive Black features and Vintage Coffee Brown interior trim, and BMW Individual 'Merino' leather trim in Silverstone with Black interior trim.
The high-quality comfort cushions, matching the color of the seat surfaces, are now part of the standard equipment for all BMW Individual Merino leather upholstery. Furthermore, the charging capacity of the BMW XM Label has increased: The Combined Charging Unit of the M HYBRID system now supports AC charging with an output of up to 11 kW.

The upgraded BMW XM Label will be unveiled on June 14, 2025, at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. BMW M Motorsport will compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC) race on the historic French track with the BMW M Hybrid V8.
The XM is certainly not a special offer. Prices for the BMW XM Label start at €183,400. The BMW XM 50e starts at €133,800. Prices and equipment apply to Germany.
